Today’s One Beautiful Thing is another blog!
This turned up in my feed last night, and I stayed up way too late binge reading it! Nicole Belanger Smeltzer is the eldest child in a family of 5 girls, and the stories she tells from her childhood are fantastic.
The illustrations are all done by cutting and pasting paper, and they’re incredibly fun and effective. Her stories, while short, are hilarious and totally believable. As involved as her paper illustrations sometimes are, her writing is perfectly spare and clean, and there’s always just exactly enough of it. I really think you’re going to love it. I’m now completely obsessed. This is going to be a problem.

Thank you! What a cool write-up! Just one small thing though– I’m actually the oldest! 🙂
