Earlier this week, I was speaking of brilliant covers of songs everyone is sick of. Well, congratulate me, I’ve found another!

Walk Off the Earth and their good friends Parachute have managed to do a cover of Pharrell Williams’ Happy that isn’t even a little bit trite. There’s something so agreeably Muppet-like about the video, it makes me, well, you know.

If you don’t know them, Walk Off the Earth (WOTE to their close friends), is this completely lovely Canadian band known for their fabulous use of harmonies and mouth music. They became an internet sensation a couple of years ago with this staggeringly good version of Somebody I Used To Know (which they call “5 Peeps, 1 Guitar”).

If you’d like to hear more of their music, Wrecking Ball, Gang of Rhythm, and Little Boxes are among my favorites.
