“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn’t hurt.”
― Charles M. Schulz

First, let me say that I am dieting, and when I’m dieting, food is the only thing I can think of.

During my OBT wanderings, I came across these beautiful one-of-a-kind Pollock-inspired chocolate bars made by Mexican chocolate boutique Unelefante. This discovery led me to look for other chocolatiers whose work crossed the line from food to art, and my search turned up some really lovely products. As with Etsomnia, the links to the items for sale are below each photo.

“The greatest tragedies were written by the Greeks and Shakespeare…neither knew chocolate.”
― Sandra Boynton

Epilogue: Every day after I post, I like to look around WordPress at what other bloggers have to say on the same topic, and I came across something too thrilling not to share, Digger666’s post about The Chocolate Diet! (Let me save you a little disappointment. You don’t get to eat only chocolate. However, daily chocolate is, it turns out, good for you!)

And in case you're not interested in spending hundreds of dollars on beautiful chocolates, these sparkly beauties are totally DIY! Here's how.

  1. I suppose the metallic chocolate skulls would make for an awkward Valentines day gift.

  2. The skulls were my favorite haha. I might have liked all the chocolate themed quotes even more.

  3. It would’ve such an insult to the Chocolate Gods to leave these beauties unappreciated. I’ll happily take them to the sacrificial altar for you…

  4. Chocolate and wine are my only two serious vices. Art is a passion. Now, if only I’d read this post while sipping a bold red, my world would have been complete. Instead, I’m now craving chocolate. Nice find!

  5. Having received several comments, I can see quite clearly that I was wrong. There are many people who would like to received the skulls on Valentines day. I must humbly apologize. I just didn’t know.
