Every year, ITV chooses a number of UK-based charities to be the beneficiaries of their Text Santa campaign. But they don’t just ask for money. They work for it.
This year’s beneficiaries are: Alzheimer’s Society, Guide Dogs, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Teenage Cancer Trust, Together for Short Lives, and WellChild. Videos telling you all about those charities can be found here.
But the real point of this post are the two devilishly clever videos below. If you watch Downton Abbey, you NEED to watch them. They’re brilliant. Then give something if you’re feeling so inclined.

Fantastic – very clever and well executed. I think my favorite parts involved the footman (I only remember the names of former English students, not fictional characters) stealing the silver and the Butler wearing the dog slippers.
