The Hollywood Reporter had a brilliant idea. In honor of “Modern Family’s” potential sixth win in the Emmy’s Best Comedy category, THR decided to shoot the cast in tributes to a number of other iconic American sitcoms. They even got Ed O’Neill to recreate Al Bundy, everyone’s favorite 1980s curmudgeon.

“I love dressing up like Ed’s first TV wife,” Vergara told THR. “I’m starting to think Ed just signs up for roles where his wife has really big boobs. I’m glad I made the cut!”
