Happy Halloween!
Today, I’m pleased to bring to you the grandaddy of all costume makers. This is the award-winning, awesome, mad creative geniuses from New Orleans known as the Krewe of Kolossos. They describe themselves as “creators of eco conscious curiosities led by environmental artist Katrina Brees.”
The Krewe make these magnificent papier-mâché bicycle-based parade floats for Mardi Gras, then those floats are sold on Etsy. I want every single one of them (and I’m going to start doing this with my Mermaid Parade floats!). Their shop also contains all kinds of fantastic costumes, masks, and props. Definitely worth a visit.
Have a safe, wonderful, fun-filled Halloween, all!

They really are, and such nice people! Their masks are totally worth checking out, too.
