What if you spent every day looking for One Beautiful Thing?

Sorry/Not Sorry (This is a Test)

friday

Since my connection between WordPress and Facebook decided to crap out right before I go on vacation in a place with no wifi, I need to publish a test.

Therefore, here’s your Friday-before-vacation earworm.

Have a good day!

Author: Donna from MyOBT

I have committed to spending part of every day looking for at least one beautiful thing, and sharing what I find with you lovelies!

  1. Well, your test worked! (And no, I did NOT play the video all the way through–just enough to make sure it actually played correctly.) And hey, if your internet, etc. is defunct while you’re out on vacation, don’t worry. We’ll still be here when you come back!

    • You’re very kind! Actually, I did what I always do for vacations, and scheduled posts for all the days I’ll be away. On my first vacation after I started the blog, I didn’t do that, and I nearly wasn’t able to post. Since I’ve been posting every day since February of 2014 and haven’t missed a day yet, I now leave nothing to chance. Don’t want to break my record!

      • I know what you mean. I recently had to take a trip and missed my goal of having a post ready for the day I got back. My goal has been to regularly post every 2 weeks; still working on that goal. Haven’t been able to get enough ahead to schedule ahead. Got any tips on how to double up so that you have an extra post that can be scheduled for a future date in addition to having one for “right now”?

      • I do, but of course, my blog is less time-sensitive than most. To prepare for vacation, I wrote two posts per day during the week leading up to the trip; one to post and one to schedule. It takes discipline, but I think it’s worth it!

  3. Have a great vacation…..and way to keep that streak alive.
Funny, I have been reading about a guy (Raven) who has been running every day in Miami since 1975. That’s a streak.
