I love that unicorn mug. That made me chuckle. I have this weird reaction to inspiration quotations. They make me feel irritable and negative. I think it might be that I bristle at the idea that something so trite could possibly be a salve. I have the same experience with yoga – it just makes me feel tense and stressed. Which probably suggests that the problem is inherent to me.

So-called inspirational quotes have exactly the same effect on me. And when I see them in my facebook feed, I kind of assume the posters are dimmer than originally suspected. I do think yoga’s awesome, but many of its practitioners are irritating as hell.

I’m currently taking a yoga class with my preschool class. The instructor is very calm and patient but neither the kids or I leave the session feeling remotely zen.

That vodka variety pack (link) looks interesting. I am a new fan of lemon vodka although I never would have thought I would enjoy flavored vodka. A variety pack of lemon vodka would truly be a box of sunshine.
