It’s my 2500th post! While it’s true that if I can’t live in it or drive it, and it doesn’t increase my property value, I’m definitely not spending $2,500 on anything, I thought it still might be fun to see what kind of treasuresthat princely sum could get you on Etsy. Let’s play!

My mother and I used to love to wander through iconic shops like Tiffany’s and Bergdorf’s and Sak’s. From a very young age, she taught me that it’s fine to walk through and admire and move on. She used to tell me, “It’s like a museum with price tags.” Eventually, we decided we were disappointed that museums DIDN’T have price tags!
Congratulations on 2500 posts! Several of these items are definitely over-priced by several zeroes. What are people thinking of? If they genuinely want to make a sale, wouldn’t it be a more sound plan to price in a sensible way? I do love that diamond and sapphire necklace and the converted gurney but my favourite item is the wooden chair.
Donna worked very hard to find all these items for us. So I try to like and comment on her work as much as possible. The only item above that I like is the chair but this county boy is not going to pay $2500.00 for one chair. For that much money I want four chairs, the table, china cabinet and buffet. Plus the plates, silver ware and crystal glasses. I did suggest my son start making them. Hal
