What if you spent every day looking for One Beautiful Thing?

The Kind of Stories We Need Right Now

No matter who you are, the endless barrage of bad news has likely been getting you down. Well, I’m pleased to report that Late Night host Seth Meyers has devised a (temporary) cure for news fatigue. It’s a segment he calls The Kind of Stories We Need Right Now, and it focuses on positive stories to make us all feel better.

It’s a simple premise – good people doing good or fun or awesome things. These fun stories are working for me, and I hope they work for you, too!

You can follow Late Night With Seth Meyers on YouTube.

  1. We count on Seth for his humor, whip-smart observations, and general nice-guy-ness – kind of like I count on My OBT. Thanks!

  3. I found out the hard way that a salesperson lied to me big time this morning. I also am very upset with what is going on in Washington D.C. But I am not going to abuse this sight be saying any more. I really needed the posts today. I went from storming mad to laughing so hard my sides do hurt. I have said it over and over. You don’t want to mess with us Senior Citizens. You never know what their background is and which one would enjoy kicking your ass. 🙂 Somebody help me – who is the radio person who always ended with “and that’s the rest of the story”/ I always enjoyed listening to him also.
