This happens every year. I’ve adjusted to everything being kind of cold and grey. I’m not unhappy at all, just kind of, I don’t know, on hold. Then all at once, green things start popping out of the ground. It’s like there’s a secret date that changes every year on which the daffodils and hydrangeas and other growing things have agreed to suddenly go to town. And a part of me that I’d all but forgotten about greens up along with the plants. All that riotous growth makes me feel new and joyful and filled with hope, and it puts me in the mood for emeralds. They just feel like spring and renewal and redemption to me.
So here, without further ado, is some happy green emerald stuff that made me happy!

I do have a soft spot for rings, but how on earth would you wear that double ring??

I love those things! I have a couple. You can’t do much while wearing them, but they look great!

Exactly! Not uncomfortable if you get the right size and configuration.

-grin- I was taught not to point. I guess this ring would help with that too. 🙂

There’s a marketing angle I’m sure they haven’t thought of!

Beautiful work. Outstanding stones. No, I don’t want to know how much they sell for. I just enjoyed looking at all of them. Hal

No need to know that. My mother used to take me through Tiffany’s. Before we went in, she would remind me, “We’re not buying anything. Just think of it as a museum with price tags.” As a result, we used to laugh about how infuriating it was that museums didn’t have price tags.

Love the art deco and rainbowish earrings. So beautiful. Now I just have to find someone to buy them for me–or win the lottery. The tiara is stunning also—what would I wear with it? LOL
My son’s birthstone is emerald—sometimes I think about getting an updated sort of Mother’s ring with his and his sister’s birthstone in it but I have never found a design I like.
Has anyone here worn a double ring—are they comfortable?

Kate, my dear, if you had the tiara, you’d wear it with EVERYTHING. And I love a double ring.
