So often I see pictures with muted tones and people dressed in black….and the pictures always evoke sadness. This one does the exact opposite for me. This one is full of life and happiness.
That’s a lovely observation! As a native New Yorker, black clothing has a different meaning for me, but in art, I suspect my gut reaction is more similar to yours than I’d like to admit. (She then looked down and realized she was wearing all black for the third day in a row…)
