Shoes, shoes, shoes! I never would have suspected that shoes (and poetry) could so effectively sum up one’s relationships. Of course, mine would mostly be sensible shoes . . . (That’s a lesbian joke. I would never be seen in sensible shoes. Or the relationship equivalent, for that matter.)

I like the milk ones, but I know I’d fall down immediately. I could see myself in the melting red ones. Most of them look like Barbie shoes to me, but I like them in theory. Likely, in practice, less so.
