Etsomnia™ Volume XVIII: Happy Holidays?
et·som·ni·a (/etˈsämnēə/), noun, 1. a sleep disorder caused by obsessive Etsy browsing. 2. the surprising arrival of weird handmade merchandise ordered in one’s sleep.
Happy Friday! Etsomnia may be a day late, but I think it was worth the wait.
The Simplest Gifts Mean the Most
Just came across this unspeakably lovely version of what I think of as the quintessential traditional Thanksgiving song, and I had to share it. Yo Yo Ma and Alison Krauss are my version of a dream team. Enjoy!
Thank You!
Happy Thanksgiving! (And to those outside the U.S., Happy Thursday!) I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you. It’s been a crazy 8 months since I started blogging.
In the last 281 days, I’ve found my voice, I’ve lowered my stress level, I’ve found many, many things to get excited about, and I’ve discovered all of you lovely people. I honestly can’t imagine my life without you anymore, and I’d like to thank you for everything you do for me, for your support, your input, your kindness, your comments, your likes, your astute observations, and your valid arguments. You make me feel heard, and this Thanksgiving, you make me feel great gratitude for you all.
Cheers, lovelies!
Hugs,
Donna
P.S. Don’t worry. A very special holiday episode of Etsomnia will be posted tomorrow!
