We’ve all heard about families recreating decades-old photos as a gag, but these three brothers and their dad have done such an epic job of it, everyone else should now stop. Continue reading

Weird Time for a Joke
I don’t want to make light of MLK Day. It’s an important day, and it’s really important to me, but try as I might, I didn’t feel qualified to write a post about the man who has come to represent so much to so many. I understand that race relations, like most hot-button issues, are on a pendulum and are bound to swing backward once in a while. But this year, it feels like we’ve been spending more time swinging back than forward, and I worry that we are letting the great man down.
However, I didn’t want to let the day go by without acknowledging him, so here’s a joke he told on The Tonight Show in 1968. It’s very him.
Make Mine Mini!!
Remember Lorraine Loots and the Very Young Eyes? Well, we weren’t the only ones charmed by her beautiful diminutive works. Her adorable mini-painting-every-day project has inspired another very talented artist to do her own 365-day tiny painting project, with similarly darling results. Continue reading

Police Just Gotta Shake It Off
Too adorable not to share, even if it is staged.
The Police Department in Dover, DE just released a video in their new series “DashCam Confessionals.” The officer in the video is seen lip-syncing and shaking it to Taylor Swift’s hit song “Shake It Off” while driving in his police cruiser.
The result is absolutely fantastic.
And you thought this was going to be a serious post.

Afternoon Belly Laugh
I can’t imagine there’s anyone out there who hasn’t seen this, but I was reminded of it today and just had to share. In 2008, the Ellen Show got a message from the then-88-year-old Austin, TX, resident, Gladys Hardy. When Ellen called Gladys back, things get very funny very quickly. Ellen’s reaction to Gladys is the most genuine and most hilarious thing I’ve ever seen on television.
Need more Gladys? Me, too!
