Here is this week’s brilliant cover of one of my favorite songs. If Jasmine Thompson can do this at 13, I can’t wait to see what she’ll accomplish when she’s grown!

And as good as that was, her cover of Chaka Khan’s Ain’t Nobody is really inspired. It even made it to 32 on the UK and Scotland charts. Oh, and she was 12 when she recorded this one. Scary. Scary good, that is.

And in case you thought she was just a pretty face and voice, she also writes music. Okay, yes, the song below is a little thin, but it’s lyrical and pretty and 3/4 time isn’t easy.
