Netherlands fiber artist Maike van Wijk creates the most adorable felted critters. As soon as I saw the little guy above, I knew I had to share! All of her creatures start out as an idea in her head, then a quick sketch in her sketchbook. Maike has a condition know as pareidolie, which means that she sees faces in everyday objects. I think that gives her a great edge when creating her pieces.
