Known as much for her wild stage costumes as for her velvety jazz pipes, singer Veronica Swift is taking the music world by storm. Not content to be an incredible singer of swing and be-bop, Swift constantly branches out into other genres which she masters with the same ease. Maybe her facility with all the different musical styles she’s explored comes from starting her music career as a tween, performing with her father’s jazz band. Swift’s debut album was recorded at the age of 9. Let that sink in.
Swift’s current project, Dame, is more of a hard rock band, but I hope she protects those pipes…
You can follow Veronica Swift on her website and on YouTube, Instagram, Spotify, and Facebook.

She has a wonderful voice, a strong stage presence, and she seems to have a blast performing in whatever style she is singing in. It must be quite fun to play around with different musical genres rather than getting pigeon-holed in one style.

Agreed! One of the reasons I didn’t stick with music as a career is that I couldn’t choose a genre.

The arrangement of Social Call made my morning! I subbed to her YouTube channel and I’ll be watching her. I’m sure I’ll gravitate to her jazz pieces but my curiosity will have me clicking on the other genres as well.
