Is this the greatest nature video ever? Probably not, but the title is certainly optimistic. Behold “The Coolest Nature Video Ever” edited by Roen Horn, set to “Hello Tomorrow” by Karen O. It may not be the coolest ever, but it is really interesting. It runs the gamut from time-lapse mushrooms to aye-ayes, to that thing at the end (tomopteris), and as a collection of entertaining wacked-out creepy crawlies, it’s fairly impressive.
If I had to vote on the coolest nature video ever, I’m not sure what I’d choose, though I’m 100% certain it would be something by ZeFrank. Like this:
Or this (will you look at that face?):

Nah. I don’t like the narrator on the True Facts vids, but I do Like Aye-ayes. No two ways (or two nipples) about that.

I just learned something: I had no idea Aye-ayes had nipples at their groins. My kids laughed a lot when I shared that true fact with them. Talking of which, I shared that first video with my kids and they loved it.

Excellent! I have started wondering what they’re going to think of my posts every day. I consider them subscribers.

Ha ha! They do often love your posts – or the bits I can show them at least. They would have laughed at that frog video but I obviously couldn’t share it with them because of the F word.

Well your blog is for grown ups so there’s no need for you to be vigilant about it. It’s my job to edit what I share with them. I did share the frog one with my husband who got a good laugh from it.
