Marie Troïtskaia
2/29/17: Although Moscow food artist Marie Troïtskaia initially trained as an architect, somewhere along the way, she realized she’d rather make buildings and cities of spun sugar and chocolate than of steel and concrete. After apprenticing with some of the premiere pastry chefs in Paris and Miami, Troïtskaia went back to Moscow to make beautiful cakes. She takes her inspiration from famous architects, living and dead, including Gehry, Le Corbusier, Gaudi, and Utzon.
Her dream is to open a pastry shop in Paris for architects, architectural students and artists. I wish her good luck!
