My mom gave me her Hermès scarves the year before she died. They sat in a box for about a year before I decided to check them out, but I instantly fell in love. There’s just something about an Hermès scarf that surpasses fashion and enters the realm of art. But I had never seriously worn a scarf, so I had no idea what to do with them. I found a few tutorials on YouTube and pretty quickly got hooked. Since then, I have spent an embarrassing amount of money expanding my collection, but when it comes to wearing them, I’m still something of a novice.
I was first drawn to Mollyne for their scarf tying tutorials on Instagram. Incredibly useful stuff, presented well. But after a while, I began to be fascinated by the scarves themselves. I had originally assumed they were Hermes or some other luxury brand, but I eventually came to understand the designs were their own!
Mollyne’s gorgeous scarves are designed by Studio Jinyk, printed on 100% silk twill, and finished with hand-rolled edges (just like Hermes. I’m just saying). The art is just gorgeous, and there are a few color options for each style. I plan on acquiring one or two, just as soon as I can make up my mind! (F.Y.I., I’m leaning heavily towards the one above…)
You can see all of Mollyne’s beautiful scarves on their merchant site and you can learn their scarf-tying tricks on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. And if you’d like to learn more about the magical world of Hermès on the Carre de Paris website.

I love wearing scarves – though I don’t currently own any square ones – but I tend to wear them in the same two or three ways. I definitely need to look at some tutorials for inspiration.

I love, love scarves and have an embarrassingly large collection which includes more than 35 from Hermes. I’m still adding to it so will check these out – thank you.

You could leave your thoughts, but all you ever seem to leave is a link to your website. Take a moment and visit a spell, won’t you? If you have something to say, I’d love to hear it. Otherwise, I’m afraid you’re going to get yourself blocked.

Oh, Donna, thank you for this post. I have a bunch of beautiful scarves I never wear because I don’t know how. I will try these ideas!

She makes it all look pretty simple. I assume it will take practice, but I have mastered a couple of her techniques, and they’ve come in so handy!

Hi Donna, did you end up ordering from them? Were you happy with the quality and service? I’m considering ordering the Manhattan Blue!

I didn’t order from them because I got busy and forgot all about them. I really should!
