Today, we’re looking at UK singer Nati Dredd, and before Laura gets mad at me for calling her ‘painfully Scottish,’ that’s her term, not mine. This young siren is amazingly talented, but the poor darlin’ suffers from performance anxiety, as do I. I feel you, Nati! She’s nonetheless been getting up her courage and getting on festival stages all over Great Britain.
After hearing her description of herself, I expected a smaller, more folkish voice, but no. This girl has some PIPES. She’s got a sound that’s sweet and soulful, and her Disney Meridia looks perfectly suit her beautiful voice. Though she mostly records original songs, her covers really blew me away. Check out the first one below. It’s a real barn burner!
You can follow the adorably Scottish Nati Dredd on her website and on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

You’ve made my day because it is always a joy to hear my own accent and this singer is not just from Scotland but is from Fife – in fact she is from the town where I was born – so she has exactly my accent. She also has a beautiful voice and I enjoyed both her more modern covers and her rendition of traditional Scottish folk song. I have now given her a follow on Instagram so thanks for the recommendation.
