What if you spent every day looking for One Beautiful Thing?

Driftwood and Love

Lilli Komnik

German artist Lilli Komnik can look at a piece of driftwood and see things I never could imagine. Her use of reclaimed wood to create perfectly-imperfect little waterside town scenes is nothing short of magic. I wasn’t able to learn anything about the artist, so we’ll just have to be satisfied with admiring her charming work.

You can see all of Lilli Komnik’s amazing pieces in her Etsy Shop and on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.

These are all really charming. I love all of the textures and, predictably, I am drawn to the lighthouse pieces the most.

You might want to check out an artist named Karen Wright. She’s local to my parents who own several of her pieces.
