Why did my algorithm think I needed to see this? According to the French super yacht broker known as Rayan, this floating city block is the super-mega yacht known as This Is It. For a mere $409,000 PER WEEK, you too can enjoy this magnificent slice of one percenter bullshit. Did I mention that was the price to rent it for a week?!? The yacht measures an impressive 143 feet, holds 12 guests (and 12 crew members), and has 6 guest cabins.
In case you were wondering (Okay, I was wondering) how to become a yacht broker, The eminently-confident Rayan also teaches a course at YACHT BROKER SCHOOL, which is apparently a real thing.
If you’d like to fantasize about having either super yacht money or Rayan-level confidence, then follow Rayan on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. You can also check out This Is It on the yacht’s website.

Yes, it is a design triumph. But it also makes me sad when I think about the divide between the haves and the have nots.

I also had no idea Yacht Brokers were a thing and yet there’s a school for it. I cannot even imagine spending that amount of money in a week let alone on a luxury like a vacation. I guess I am not the type of customer yacht brokers are trying to reach. The boat itself is very sci-fi looking. I do kind of like it but it is not the aesthetic I would choose. I shall let my yacht broker know.

Funny, isn’t it? Some of us spend $125K (and counting) out of pocket for life saving cancer surgery because the insurance we pay $12K+ a year for won’t cover the best place for a rare cancer, but then these ….. moldy rutabagas….come up with this vulgar display of meaninglessness.
It’s hard not to be angry all the time when I think what $409K would do for most families for, say YEARS versus a nice … boat. UGH.
