It’s been a while since I offered up steampunk-styled art, so I thought it was time. Meet Lithuanian artist Artūras Tamašauskas. He builds his “assemblages” using cast-off machine parts, and his creations are really memorable. He spent his early career as a jeweler, and I think that attention to detail really comes through in his current work.

What strikes me most about his creations is the personality and individuality that each one exudes. The creatures seem entirely real, and I would like to have a number of them as pets. Little metal pets. Weird, right? But they’re so instantly likable, I can’t help myself. If you are interested, there is a site that sells them, too.
