I’m sure most of you are familiar with the fashion icon John Galliano. But today, we’re exploring his now-viral 2024 Maison Margiela runway show. It’s an amazing fantasy incorporating (temporary) body modification, a completely different kind of makeup, a totally unexpected location, and some of the most incredible casting I’ve ever seen in a runway show. There are two videos below. Typically, I would post the show first, and the making of second. But this time, the making of video helped me understand and appreciate the show so much more, I’m reversing the order. I can’t imagine what it must be like to be this much of an artist.

I don’t want to say more because I want you to experience it the way I did, totally unawares.
