What if you spent every day looking for One Beautiful Thing?

Senior Pom

A couple of weeks, I posted about some cheerleaders who are absolutely killing it. My research for that post has definitely slanted my YouTube feed lately, and yesterday, it delivered up these amazing pom competitors. I thought they were worthy of sharing. I will resist the urge to reminisce further about my cheer years other than to say I have total pom envy. Like everything else, our pom poms were stupid yellow and blue. I would have given my eye teeth for the sparkly things these athletes get to wave around.

The choreography all has many elements in common, but I’m truly impressed, both by the ways each team manages to distinguish themselves and by the mind-blowing synchronization of these teammates. They must rehears day and night!

And finally, this popped up on Instagram, and while they’re not using poms, it was too cute not to include. Enjoy!

I have only seen the typical ra-ra-ra use of pom pom thingummys. I did not really think of them as being part of a choreographed routine. I think they are a fun addition to this kind of synchronized routine because they emphasize the hand/arm movements.
