I usually only post one musical artist per week, but today’s artists are so quirky, categorizing them as musical artists is wildly understating the truth. The Russian (I’m assuming) singing group known as Spokanki describes themselves as a “multi-genre musical theatrical a cappella group.” According to their website, they are eight* sisters from the mystical (and fictional) town of SpokanLand. They travel the world to share the music of all cultures and they want to be friends with the “entire human world.” Fine. Don’t tell me who you are. I have so many questions…

Mysteries aside, their performances are definitely quirky, often funny, always impressive, and thoroughly enjoyable.
