Fiber artist and ceramicist Jocelyn Krodman says she works all the time, but she’s not a workaholic. Instead, her commitment to her art is due to her unwavering pursuit of a joyful and creative life. It wasn’t always that way, though. After graduating from Savannah College of Art & Design, the artist began working as a recruiter at her college.

“I was visiting high schools and colleges and giving presentations on why you go to art school, and I realized that I was not following my own advice. I was telling these kids that they could have a creative career, and I was not doing that myself.”

After a few years of doing odd jobs to keep herself going, Krodman’s creative endeavors finally began to pay off. She began crafting full time. Krodman called her business PetitFelts, and I have to say I’m charmed by everything she makes. In addition to her darling creations, Krodman also sells complete felting kits so you can make beautiful little fuzzy friends of your own!

You can follow PetitFelts on their website and on Instagram.

They are all charming. I am smitten with the pig butts and the white whale.
