I was recently tipped off about the vocal ensemble known as Voctave. From the description I heard, I expected to like them, but my friend seems to have undersold them a bit. What a joy their music is! With about a dozen members, they’re actually quite large for an a cappella group, and the resulting richness of their arrangements washes over you in a very satisfying way. Though they’re best known for their Broadway, Disney, and jazz arrangements, as you can imagine their holiday songs are real barn burners!

Voctave has released thirteen albums and have appeared on countless other artists’ singes as well. Since they’re based in Orlando, it will come as no surprise that they’re regularly found performing at the Florida Disney resorts and theme parks.
