I don’t often do a follow-up post about someone I’ve covered previously, but this is an exception to that rule. Today, we’re revisiting the talented-and-gorgeous Irma. I wanted to pop back in on her because her music has evolved in such wonderful ways. My last post was inspired by her song Save Me that became something of a worldwide sensation, and for good reason. It’s a glorious song, and both her performance and flawlessly-executed, single-shot, video-mapping music video were worthy of the attention they got.

The wonderful Irma has gotten a definite glow-up since that video from 2014, and her original music has evolved as well. She’s gone further, and her songs are more soulful. They touch me in a deeper place, and I’m just loving her sound (and her winged eyeliner!).
