I just spend a lovely day with the in-laws in Rockaway at the St. Patty’s Day parade. After Hurricane Sandy, we were displaced for more than 6 months, and my in-laws are still not back in their house.  It was tough seeing Rockaway still so profoundly affected, even 16 months after the storm.

However, I’ve decided I have forgiven the ocean for what she threw at us, and I’m ready to find her beautiful again. This thoroughly lovely ocean-themed art seemed like a fitting OBT for the day.  It’s made out of old maps. How cool is that?
