Today’s beautiful discovery is these glorious skull paintings by Sasha Vinogradova. The paintings illustrate different styles of traditional Russian folk painting, and each photograph includes a paragraph describing the origins of the style. They’re gorgeous and I want every one of them. Do you think this would be an inappropriate 50th birthday present?
