Helen Musselwhite’s website isn’t terribly impressive, although it does include the following sentence:
“Our dog is definitely NOT allowed in as he likes the taste of paper a bit too much and is liable to run off with a mouthful of offcuts . . .”
If you go by her site, you’d think she’s only completely 4 pieces of paper art. This is a wild underestimation. If you search for Helen Musselwhite (not a common name) on Google, you get 6 billion results (I may have rounded up slightly, but only slightly).

If you’re wondering how she achieves this level of precision, it’s because she cuts her paper with scalpels instead of Xacto Knives. That’s impressive, and a little scary, and a lot bad-ass.
She is inspired by the English countryside, which explains why much of her work is so bucolic and nature-centric, but she’s so much more than that. I hope you enjoy her whimsical, wonderful work as much as I did.

Wow. Those pieces are amazing. I love the scalpel bit, too. Edgy!

I’m way too klutzy to even attempt it, but maybe she has good insurance.

Good point. I wonder if insurers have a limiting provision for this kind of activity? I can imagine the coverage opinion the insurer might obtain if not. Something along the lines of “you’re screwed, pay up” but in legalese.

I like the “wintery” scenes the best–I hope nobody thinks I am wishing away summer.
