“A Model Was Asked To Take Her Clothes Off So We Could Hear What Was Underneath” – Upworthy

Interviewed as part of the “What’s Underneath Project,” Melanie Gaydos is brave and sensitive and extraordinarily self aware, and I find her beautiful. Her appearance at first is a bit shocking, but the way she tells her story and the filmmaker’s method of having her reveal little bits of her outer self as she shares her inner self is pure genius. By the end, I wanted to beat up whoever is unkind to her. I wish I could find her and befriend her, though I’m certain she doesn’t lack for friends.

A truly remarkable girl, and a wonderful project.
