Anja Niemi likes to play peek-a-boo. The stunning Norwegian artist takes beautiful self portraits in highly-stylized settings, dressed to the nines, with part or all of her face obscured. Entitled Do Not Disturb, the project involves her checking into a hotel room, hanging the “do not disturb” sign, dressing in what she calls protective layers of disguise, and photographing herself in unexpected poses.
“I got the idea for the hotel rooms after reading an article on 1950s housewives in Norway getting a paid housewife vacation from the government. I thought that is exactly what I need, but as this arrangement no longer existed I decided to create it for myself.”
That sounds like fun, and the resulting photos are certainly entertaining.

I suppose many travelers, depending on the distance and hassle, have found themselves in some of these poses–especially face down in the suitcase.

That looks exquisitely entertaining. And likely to require some muscle relaxants or pain relievers post-hoc. 😉
