These Christmas in NYC cocktail napkins are seriously adorable! ($45)

Greetings, and happy November! This month always takes me by surprise because the weather stays so mild through October these days. One minute, I’m napping in the sun on the back deck, and the next it’s November. Every year at this time, I begin ordering our holiday gifts, so it’s also the week when I publish my annual gift guide. As in previous years, I’ve been collecting ideas since I published last year’s guide, and my notes were mostly a surprise to me! I am again going to skip a theme. This is just my list of interesting items I thought you and your gift recipients might enjoy. May you have as much fun perusing them as I did gathering them!

As always, I am not compensated in any way for this post. These are just beautiful items I would love to give or get!

This custom patch maker kit is fantastic and so useful! ($34)
I ordered a set of these self-watering 3D-printed planters (in mint green, thank you for asking) for my orchids, and all three are so happy in their new homes! ($19+)
I am still on my paint-by-numbers kick, so you know this new-painting-every-month calendar (with built-in easel) is on my wish list! ($24)
Sculptural free weights you’ll want to display and use. We love ours! ($96+)
I found myself wishing I had opera glasses this year, and the benefit of these beauties is that while they look vintage, they’re modern reproductions, so their optics are better!
If I didn’t already have 1,000 hobbies clamoring for my attention, this embroidery stitch book kit for beginners would be on its way to me! ($21)
Your Gen X girlfriends are going to flip over this personalized cassette tape bag! ($37)
The parents who have to take long road trips with little ones will love you for this magnetic figures set, complete with carrying case! ($18+)
Birdie, the company known for their personal keychain alarms, is now making portable door alarms in yummy colors that can be used for travel and home as well. A terrific gift for college students and travelers alike. ($40)
I just love the idea of this porcelain Corning Ware-Inspired ring dish! ($42)
This Kintsugi kit would be a thoughtful gift for someone whose life has undergone a change. ($179)
Jane Austen Wooden coasters? Yes, please! ($199+)
This fully-posable wooden mannequin hand is so cool! ($40)
These Quordle wooden coloring puzzles would be fun for adults AND kids. That’s pretty unusual! ($29)
These executive-looking spinning tops made from assorted solid metals are just stunning! ($267+)
I’m (still) in love with these modern Delft tiles! ($29)
This Bespoke birding kit is both educational AND funny! ($40)
This PageGlowe book projector would make reading books to children so much more fun! ($149)
Your NYC friends will love this NYC subway lamp with interchangeable posters. Key quote: “Clean, no pee smell!” ($25)
