Maria Davison Ramos, Overall Winner and Man’s Best Friend 1st Place Winner
Every year, the Mayfair, London-based Kennel Club holds a competition for Dog Photographer of the Year. The competition is open to photographers from all over the world, and this year’s 12th annual competition included 10K entries from 74 different countries. It seems the word is spreading, and the competition was fierce.

Kim often shares your MY OBT with me, and I always forget one can comment….so for all the times I have gotten pleasure, or been moved, or smiled, or laughed, or shed tears….I am grateful….for you and for beautiful things you find. Some days it must be difficult to weed through the crap that surrounds us, but the ease and frequency with which you post these beauties speaks to your devotion to find the good in life. Thanks for your optimism and your love for humanity

I tried and tried to reply to your post, but I couldn’t get it to work. Here are my answers:
1. What is the weirdest scar you have and how did you get it? I have nearly identical horizontal scars under my eyes, and people have mistaken them for permanent eyeliner!
2. What is the most random thing you’ve ever watched all the way through on Netflix? Fuller House. Absolute dreck, but I couldn’t look away.
3. If you could trade lives with one person for an entire day who would it be and why? Tina Fey, for the obvious reasons.
4. Do you believe in ghosts? Maybe…
5. Shark diving, bungee jumping, or sky diving? Day drinking.
6. Which would be harder for you to give up: coffee or alcohol? Alcohol, by a nose.
7.What accomplishment are you most proud of? I gave up my first daughter for adoption. Horrible. Hard. And the right thing.
8. If you were going to go to the movies alone, what would be the perfect film for you to watch by yourself? Sunset Boulevard
9. What is your favorite Wikipedia article? (oh hush!Everyone has one.) Sorry. I have no idea I actually don’t have one.
10. What is your favorite physical attribute about yourself? The gay boys 👾(whose compliments I trust) tell me my ass still be bangin’. So there.
11. Tell me about the best vacation you’ve ever taken. No contest. Paris with Beloved.
