Argh! It happened again. Is anyone else having trouble with WordPress publishing an old draft (in today’s case, five old drafts) instead of the updated post you scheduled? This is so frustrating!
Anyway, with much less fanfare than it deserves, today we’re looking at the glorious fused-glass art by Richard Parrish, A.K.A. Fusio Studio. As with many of the glass artists I find, I first spotted some of Parrish’s Tapestry series pieces in an Artful Home catalog, and I was immediately mesmerized. The complex structures in his art seem like echoes of his other passion, architecture.
“As an artist and an architect, I find inspiration in both the human-made environment and in the vast landscape of the American west where I grew up. I am fascinated by the constructed and the natural, which I often express in my work.”
