Black Truffle Pasta – Recipe & Photo by Sprinkles & Sprouts

Since coming back from Italy, we’ve been in the mood for truffles. We brought back some gorgeous black summer truffles in oil and also a truly superior truffle salt, so it’s been truffle-palooza for weeks! I thought I’d share with you both my favorite recipes and some new ones I’m dying to try.

Black Truffle Chicken Pasta – I think this may be what’s for dinner!
Truffle potatoes: We nearly always make our baked baby potatoes with truffle oil and truffle salt. This crispy smashed truffle potato recipe looks like it’s going to be a winner in our house!
Beef Tenderloin with Black Truffle Steak Sauce. I think my heart skipped a beat! (Don’t tell my cardiologist…)
It’s good to remember that truffle isn’t only for elevating carbs, it can make nearly any savory dish special!
Truffle Cauliflower Risotto sounds like just the dish I need to lighten up our meals without sacrificing flavor!
When we lived on the Upper East Side, we used to go to a fancy pizza place called Numero 28. They made the MOST amazing truffle pizza. I miss that place!
Truffle Cheese Souffle Omelette… I’m sure it’s going to take some practice, but that looks just gorgeous!
Ricotta Gnocchi with Chive & Truffle Sauce. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water!
Black Truffle Tarte Tatin – OMG. I need this in my mouth!

    I am drooling at the mere mention of truffles. I have had black truffle and I use truffle oil but I have never (yet) had white truffle.
