Calling Polish guitarist Marcin Patrzalek a musician is way understating it. He’s more of a magician. The things he can do with his guitar are nothing short of miraculous, and his arrangements are positively mind-bending. Marcin combines fingerpicking and percussive guitar techniques often associated with acoustic guitar alongside some real head-banging modern electronic rock styles, and the juxtaposition is so distinctive, it may give you whiplash. Whether he’s playing popular music beloved classical pieces, or original songs, Marcin makes everything very much his own.

Marcin burst onto the Polish music scene when at 15, he walked away with first prize at the country’s most popular talent competition show, Must Be the Music. Now 23, the musician has since caught the notice of Rolling Stone, Billboard, and millions of YouTube viewers. At the age of 18, he also competed in America’s Got Talent, further increasing his online following, which now numbers in the millions.
