I thought today, it would be fun to give you a sampling of easy(ish) holiday craft projects we can try at home. Most of the projects are pretty kid friendly as well. The items can be given as gifts or used as holiday decorations around your home, and the smaller ones can even be used to dress up your holiday gift packages! The ideas below use a combination of craft store and dollar store items, alongside some things you may already have lying around the house. Hal would definitely have approved; you can get pretty much everything you’ll need at Walmart! And while the projects are budget friendly, the finished projects are really cute!
Looks like it’s time to head to the craft store (my favorite place and Beloved’s worst nightmare…) and make some DIY cuteness!

I am definitely more arty than I am crafty (I cannot be trusted around glue!) but even I could have a crack at doing a few of these. The twisted wreath looks really effective but I don’t know that I would manage that one.

Isn’t that gorgeous? I’m a bit tempted, to try it, too. It also looks like it might hold up from year to year.

I am not a confident crafter although I enjoy going to craft shows and admiring the creative products. I also should not be trusted around glue guns (and glitter)! I enjoyed watching the videos and would totally purchase the cute angel ornament which, honestly, did not look easy to me at all.

I have been accused of expending way too much time and energy acquiring and mastering crafting skills (when I should have been doing something more adult and productive). My accusers aren’t wrong.
