I confess I find Ed Sheeran a little hard to look at. It’s not his features or his coloring, it’s that he always looks (as mother would have put it) like an unmade bed. I get that this is by design, but it does nothing for me. That said, Sheeran’s music and voice are both astoundingly good.

I don’t typically write about pop stars that everyone knows because I don’t really see the point. If I’m not introducing you to something over which you can marvel, I’m failing. However, when I happened on the acapella version of his song Afterglow, I knew I had to share it. Rather than posting his popular tunes, I thought I’d send along the acapella recording with a few of his “B sides.” What a talented guy!

In addition to having the voice of an angel, Sheeran is wildly prolific, writing three songs per day, five days per week. That takes such discipline! I could never do it.
