Someone sent me the first video below (I wish I remember who it was – sorry!), and I was immediately captivated. Rows and rows (and rows) of character doodles, all different, fill the pages by Deville Design. The project is called Everyone I’ve Met, and it’s absolutely adorable. The wildly diverse figures with their tiny circular heads and are all fantastically fun to look at. The artist has also created some adorable city scenes, equally full of darling little people. I’d so love to have their talent for whimsy and details. A lot of their figures are also sporting some wonderfully wacky styles. I’d so love to see those fashions in person!
There’s no information about the artist on their website, so we’re just going to have to enjoy their art!
You can follow the remarkably prolific Deville Design on Instagram and TikTok, and in their shop.

A friend sent me the same (or similar) video via Instagram.βI think it is captivating to watch the artist at work.βThere is a real skill and talent in suggesting so much with a few simple marks and lines.βIt is a really assured style.βI like the way the rows of figures create something akin to a pattern when seen as a collective but then you can hone in on the individual figures to appreciate their details and personalities.

I just love how they communicate so much personality in a very few little lines. Such a talent!
