Besties Abe Soane and Jeong-Soo Park have been friends and songwriting partners since they met at UCLA. They say their goal is to write music that tells a story and makes the listener feel something. The pair is known as 8Eyes, though they both wear contacts sometimes. They have the nicest vibe and such sweet, tender voices. 8Eyes is best known for their ingenious mashups of well-known songs, which series they call Songs as Conversations.

There’s nothing flashy about these two close friends who love to sing together, but their recordings are heartbreakingly lovely. I hope they continue making beautiful music together for many, many years to come.
