Maftoolism

Today, we’re looking at the marvelous sculptures by Iranian found-object artist who goes by the name Maftoolism. These whimsical sculptures are made using wire, old tools, and scraps of fabric. The transformations are mind-blowing, and I really enjoyed the artist’s making of videos.

I love how much personality his sculptures possess. Though I wasn’t able to learn anything about the artist, that didn’t stop me from enjoying his remarkable creations.

You can see all of Maftoolism’s amazing work on Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.

How creative! I will never look at scissors quite the same.

These are delightful. I think the juxtaposition of metal and textile is really effective in these pieces.
