I imagine it will come as no surprise that I consume A LOT of social media looking for finds for the blog. So when I say this is my favorite account, you know I’m really saying something. These are the truly hysterical voiceover pet videos by TheRxcstxr, and I cannot get enough.

The voiceovers are the work of Bobby Johnson, a Dallas-based voiceover artist and former music producer. He first came up with the idea during Covid lockdown, and boy, did it catch on quick. Johnson’s video was liked and reposted by celebrities like Tom Hanks, Missy Elliott, and Jennifer Aniston.

“Everything shut down and we were isolated. One day I came across a video of a puppy dog bouncing in a box and noticed it was bouncing on beat. It had a rhythm to it so we made a song. It just blew up. And that’s when I figured, hey, let’s just check this lane out a little bit more.”

One of the best things about the Rxckstxr community is that the videos are so funny and so inoffensive, they actually don’t seem to get negative comments. Not sure how that’s even possible, but there it is.
