Dancer/choreographer/teacher Meghan Sanett has a truly distinctive style, not an easy trick these days. With all her unexpected isolations and intense eye contact with the audience, her jazz choreography feels like what Fosse might have produced had he been working today. And all that talent hasn’t gone unnoticed. She’s worked with many of the greats, including Jennifer Lopez, Julie Andrews, Pitbull, and Paula Abdul.
Sanett is bicoastal, teaching at NYC’s Broadway Dance Center and at Edge Performing Arts Center in Hollywood, and her classes always have a long waiting list. She’s known for giving her students a solid warmup, and they need them considering how challenging Sanett’s choreography can be.
You can follow the wildly-talented Meghan Sanett on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

I am not remotely as familiar with choreography or the history of dance as you are but I know enough to know you were spot on in your observation that these performances are like a contemporary spin on Bob Fosse.

I’ve been addicted to that style since childhood. I just cannot get enough!
