The multi-instrumentalist/songwriter who calls himself The Kiffness has me giggling and hitting replay today. The South Africa native’s real name is David Scott, and he makes what he calls “jazzy, groovy & uplifting house music.” He does a lot of internet collaborations where he takes videos he finds and builds music around them, but my absolute favorite songs are the ones he does, wait for it, WITH CATS. Yes, cats (and occasionally other animals). It has to be seen to believed.

So clever! It just goes to show that talented musical people can find inspiration in all manner of sounds. I watched with the youngest son who, predictably, loved all of the cat duets. It was Beautiful Day, however, that warmed the cockles of my soul.
