Wearable Nature

I love costume jewelry, so I often browse the sites that pop up in my social media feed. But when I clicked on MetalVoque (do you think they meant to call it MetalVogue?), I was truly impressed. I haven’t seen their designs anywhere else, and their prices are very budget friendly. Interesting AND affordable? Count me in! Many of their original designs incorporate elements of nature, and I think they’re just adorable.

I love costume jewellery too so I find these pieces really appealing. I think the artisans designing and creating these pieces have found a lovely balance between whimsical and classy. They are fun but the choices of metals and the precision of the shapes keeps them from becoming kitsch – though I do personally love the odd bit of kitsch. I was tempted enough by the raincloud and pencil shaving pieces to click through to their website and they really are at an affordable price point – so on to my wish list they go!

The raincloud set is so adorable! I’m also in love with the bee and honey combination. I’d love to see some of these things executed in finer materials. I’m sure I’d wear any of those flower or leaf earrings to death if they didn’t eventually turn me green.

The mispelling of vogue makes me wonder if this is a drop ship outfit? I really hope not because I love the designs. signed, been burned before 🙂
